Agent is named Medical Director

Peters Agency Hospice and Palliative has just completed the third tree-year accreditation from ACHC (Accreditation Commission for HealthCare).

Established in 2011, Peters Agency Hospice and Palliative Care has an experienced team of professionals to provide the best care available. They are one of just three in this part of the state to achieve ACHC status.

They are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. John P “Phil” Agent, as their Medical Director.

Dr. Agent is a hometown boy, having grown up in Sallisaw. After high school, he went directly to the Marine Corps, where he completed his enlistment. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Northeastern State University, then completed Medical School at Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Agent completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Oklahoma, and is board certified in Internal Medicine. His practice is at Mercy Clinic, located at 1015 Choctaw, in Sallisaw.

He is married, has four daughters and five grandchildren.
