Do You Know…
By Shirley R. Watts,

Professing Church Members

Do you know that you know, that you know, that you are truly saved? In other words if Jesus comes today for His Church, will you be “caught up” to Him? You can know!

Stats show that over fifty percent of local church members may be lost. That is why we see the apostasy in the local churches today. Many church members have never truly believed. You may be active, but that will not save you. You may have been baptized in local body, but that does not save you! You must recall the day or the moment you joined the local church and why you joined. What happened when you made a profession of faith? What really happened? Did you hear the Gospel of salvation? Did you come under conviction that you were a sinner? What did you do with the conviction? Did you see that you needed Jesus to save you? Did you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin of unbelief and the fruit of our unbelief which is your sins. Do you believe that Jesus came to save you? Do you believe He died for your sin? Do you believe He was buried and was raised the third day from the tomb? What do you really believe, not of the knowledge, but of your heart? What really happened on the day you joined the local church. Do you know that you know, that you are saved, and you are a member of the True Church. Many join the local church for various reasons, but you must be a member of the True Church first, and that can only come through repentance unto God, ask forgiveness, place faith in Jesus Christ. You must realize you are lost and your destiny is Hell if you are to truly be saved. Then you will receive The Holy Spirit. No Spirit…No salvation! Your name must be written in The Lamb’s Book of Life and not just the local church record book!

So “local church member” do you know, that you know, that if Jesus comes today that you will be resurrected into eternal life? Yes or no?

I have met individuals who walked the aisle because others did, and some who joined for other reasons, and years later realized they were never saved. They were very fortunate that God allowed them to live and realized they needed salvation.

Fruitful

Do you love Jesus above all? Do you love others? Are you bearing spiritual fruit? Are you living in sin? Do you pray, study and witness?

The Holy Spirit will convict you of such. Are you convicted, or do you see no harm in sin? We have many who have professed Jesus, but lives do not show it. Where are you today? What are you doing? Are you living in worldly ways? Where is your heart? Your interest?

Church member you must be sure you are saved…Born Again! (John 3:3). Examine yourself. Are you maturing?

Many professing local church members are dropping out of “faithfulness” to God.

Lost Sinners

What a mess we have today around the world. Seems like evil is at a very high level. If one does not like what is going on and you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, you must see that this is just a glimpse into Hell…forever. Seems like the Satan is gaining confidence in these days. We have seen him in action in Maui and now in Israel and around the world and how he has murdered innocent babies and children. It will become darker as the days move toward the coming of Jesus. You do not want to be found on this earth after the Rapture. I hope you consider Jesus for salvation. He came to seek and save sinners. All are sinners! “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”(Rom. 3:23). All face the Judgment! “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 6:23).

All have a future, Heaven or Hell!

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the Judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
