Funeral Mass for Martha Ann (Hoelzeman) Peitz, 90, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, Ark.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peitz was born on Dec. 6, 1932, in Morrilton to Herman Joseph Hoelzeman and Caroline Rose (Sponer) Hoelzeman. She died on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, in Vian.
She was a retired secretary for the Arkansas State Insurance Department and of the Catholic faith.
She married Edward Vincent Peitz in March of 1990, in Little Rock, Ark.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Paula Haraway of Sallisaw, Connie and David Hankins and Jacquelyn and Mark Vandergrift, all of Dallas; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Sanders of Hot Springs, Ark.; four stepsons, Alan and Angie Peitz of Ozark, Mo., Tony Peitz of Little Rock, Eddie and Lisa Peitz and Danny Peitz, all of Hot Springs; one brother, Herman “Buddy” and Tootsie Hoelzeman of Morrilton; seven grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
