Vian – Funeral services for Ricky Ray Mosby Walters, 70 of Vian, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Walters was born on May 10, 1953, in Altus, Ark., to Betty Lee (Walters) Mosby and Earl Denvil Mosby. He passed away on Monday, Oct. 27, 2023, in Tulsa.
He was a tool setter for 18 years at Remington Dupont in Independence, Mo.
Survivors are two sisters, Evelyn Crase of Gore and Sheila Fuller of Tahlequah; three brothers, Steve Mosby of Vian, Dean Mosby of Muldrow and Tony Mosby of Sallisaw; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Earl Mosby; and two sisters, Karen Craig and Donna Mosby Walters.
Pallbearers were David Fuller, David Weisenfels, Austin Shrum, Caleb Weisenfels, Jeffrey Mosby and Devlin Mosby.
Honorary pallbearers were Brad Mosby, Calvin Mosby, Dan Lewis, Dean Mosby and Steve Mosby.
