Welcome again to the Vian Nursing and Rehab news. It has been so busy about the home these last few weeks. And the artic blast we had, oh my. But thank goodness the sun is shining and we are so thankful.
We are getting ready for our big Valentines party and the crowning of our king and queen. Voting begins today and we will announce this year’s winners on Valentines Day. We are also having a Super Bowl party with all the goodies. It’s all about the snacks. Well, for us anyways.
Today is a shopping trip to Muskogee with a group of the ladies and bingo for those that are staying home. Coffee and donuts in the lobby today as well. We will be making our own soap next week in crafts and we are very excited to see how out it turns out, this is an activity we have never done before so we hope it’s a keeper.
Friday is National Pizza Day and the residents will be making individual pizza with all of their favorite toppings. Of course bingo and the company store are always the favorite and we play three days a week. We are making door decorations this week and painting maracas and much more. Always a fun time here.
