For Vian School Board seat

Bill Sanford of Vian has announced his candidacy for the Vian Board of Education.

Sanford is a 1978 graduate of Vian High School and said he has conservative values for the school’s children.

He has raised his family and established his own construction business in Vian, as well as serving as a leader in his church as deacon for over 30 years.

Sanford said if elected, he plans to support Vian Public School’s superintendent, teachers, staff and students.

“We are Wolverine nation,” Sanford said. He said he is also proud to have supported the Vian Wolverines over the last 30 years by keeping stats for the team.

The election will be held on Tuesday, April 2.
