Oct. 6, 1943 – Feb. 18, 2024

Sheila Welch, 80, of Park Hill, died on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, in Park Hill. She was born on Oct. 6, 1943, in Upland, Calif., to Willie Travis Owen and Odessa (Owen) Owen.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She was an LPN for Tahlequah Nursing Home. She married David Pierce Welch on June 14, 1963, in Hinkley, Calif. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2015.

Survivors include two sons, Travis and Lisa Welch of Ponca City and Raymond and Meri Welch of Oklahoma City; one sister, Deannie Picciotti of Holand, Mich.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Betty Dame.
