Vian TSA and Vian sixth grade Academic Team members recently attended the Sequoyah County TSA contest at ICTC Sallisaw, where 300 students from 23 different schools made up the 18th annual contest. Students placed as follows: Noah Hallmark-first place Electronics, Gideon Spyressecond place Prepared Speech, Creed Clouse, Jaxon Sumpter and Madsen Carter-second place Problem Solving Team, Gideon Spyresthird place Electronics, Emry Smith-sixth place Electronics, Blake Prier and Lyla McElhaneysixth place Problem Solving Team, Gideon Spyres and Noah Hallmark- seventh place Problem Solving Team, Brynn Barnoskie-ninth place Prepared Speech, Emry Smith-ninth place Creed, and Noah Hallmark- ninth place Tech Bowl.
