Funeral services for Robert Earl Suttle, 90, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Suttle was born on May 3, 1933, to John Earl Suttle and Sarah Eunice (Hunt) Suttle. He died on Monday, March 11, 2024, in Plano, Texas.

He married Carolyn Sue Suttle on June 12, 1964, in Sallisaw.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Sue Suttle; one daughter, Robbin Elizabeth Suttle Dill and Matt Dill of Plano; one granddaughter; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and sisters, Doris Bankhead, Edward Suttle, Helen Suttle Duncan, Thomas Suttle, Sarah Suttle Cousins and William Suttle.

Pallbearers were Kurt Stephens, Keith Darcy, Matt Dill, Cana Hall, Don Garrett and Larry Spears.
