Cremation services for Ron Harvey, 80, of Vian, are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Harvey was born on July 23, 1943, in Muskogee, to Julia Louise (Rowe) Moore and William “Bill” Rufus Tadpole. He passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Gore.
He was married to Virginia Mae “June Bug” Armer on May 2, 1961 in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death on January 26, 2007.
He loved trading guns and knives, riding a tractor, hunting, being outside and especially riding horses. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Keetoowah Tribe.
Survivors are sister, Kimber Robbins and Larry of Cookson; adoptive daughter, Amy Stovall of Vian; sister-in-law, Sandy Armer Clopton of Gore; three brothers-in-law, Johnny Armer, Darrell Armer and Gary Armer, all of Vian; nephew, Larry Lane and Linda of Vian; and many other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June “June Bug” Harvey; parents; and one brother, Robert Leon Harvey.
