Betty Lou “Amos” Pickard, 93, of Sallisaw, died on April 14, 2024, in Sallisaw. She was born on December 5, 1930, in Sallisaw, to Marvin and Vinnie “Lattimore” Amos.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
She graduated from Central High School in 1949. She was an office manager for 43 years at Nylander and Sorenson Equipment Co.
Survivors are husband of nearly 75 years, Lawrence Daniel Pickard; daughters, Linda and Karen; son, Larry; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Wynona Burney, Emma Sue Brock and Ronnie Amos; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, M.D. Amos; and grandson, Marine Corporal Joshua Daniel Pickard.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Akins Cemetery America Flag Restoration Fund in her honor.
