Funeral services for Mary (McClulre) Barger, 79, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barger was born on Aug. 15, 1944, in Sallisaw to Cornelious Robert McClure and Iva (Holland) McClure. She died on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Sallisaw.

She worked in Human Resources at Borg Warner and attended the Sallisaw First Assembly of God Church.

She married Don Barger on Aug. 15, 1973, in Muskogee.

Survivors are husband, Don of the home; three sisters, Martha and Lee Taylor and Brenda and Victor Bryant, all of Sallisaw and Linda Bush of Marble City; two brothers, Cecil McClure and Connie and Ethel McClure, all of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and seven brothers, Hubert, Hulan and John as infants, Leon, Wayne, Claburn and Clayton McClure.
