The Cherokee Nation and Carl Albert State College are thrilled to announce the upcoming Scholarship Golf Classic, set to take place beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Friday at Cherokee Springs Golf Course. A team and rules meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday before the tournament will begin.
A big thanks to the Cherokee Nation for serving as the corporate sponsor. This exciting event offers a perfect blend of competitive golf and community spirit, all in support of scholarships for deserving Sequoyah County students attending Carl Albert State College.
The cost is $75 for individuals and $300 for a team of four. The registration fee for individual players and teams includes a cart, green fee, two mulligans, and lunch. Additionally, there are cash prizes available for the top three teams, making this tournament not only a charitable event but also a competitive and rewarding experience for all participants. Golf team and hole sponsorships are available for two different amounts — $350 will include a cart, green fees, two mulligans, lunch and a business logo on a sign at one of the holes and $200 for a logo on a sign on one of the holes.
