Funeral service for Damon Douglas Leaf, 55, was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Vian Assembly of God church, with Kevin Harvell officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, Inc.
Mr. Leaf was born on July 3, 1968, to Mary Lou Buster-Bailey and Bill Leaf. He died on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
He was a 1987 graduate of Vian High School, and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at the river. He also enjoyed reading, going to church and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors are his children, Natasha Gleason, Dathan Howard, Trace Kizzia, Brittany Johnston, Autumn Gilmore, Lakota Leaf, Brett Leaf and Shay Leaf; siblings, Stacey Craighead and Craig Manns; 14 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were Ronnie Baldwin, Aiden Stillwell, Mikey Buster, Rodney Finney, Michael Craighead, Eric Drum and TD Sovo.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Pat Jones, Corey Smith, James Annesley, Mason Collins and Colton Gilmore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Liver Foundation (ALF).
