Charles Franklin Monroe Lambert

Feb. 29, 1940 – July 29, 2024

A viewing for Charles Franklin Monroe Lambert, 84, of Muldrow, was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Lambert was born on Feb. 29, 1940, in Lindsay to Charlie Lambert and Opal (Manning) Lambert. He died on Monday, July 29, 2024, in Sallisaw.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, making jewelry and watching westerns. He fostered children for many years and adopted six.

He married Loretta Tinsley on Nov. 23, 1962, in MacFarland, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Lambert of the home; 10 children, Belinda Howard and Roger of Muldrow, Dwayne Lambert and Laura of Muldrow, Randall Lambert and Codi of Sallisaw, John Lambert and Brandy of Gans, Genene Brown of Sallisaw, Elizabeth McDonald and Nick of Ada, Jessica Ray and fiancé Dylan of Denham Springs, La., Felicity Tammell and William of South Carolina, Lizzy Lambert of Gore and Grace Lambert of Muldrow; one brother, Melvin Lambert and Linda of Delano, Calif.; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marie Blackburn; and two brothers, Troy Lambert and David Lambert.
