and Ethel Pearl (Risley) Cato. She died on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, in Morris.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She married Finis E. “Booger Red” Miller, on May 29, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, JoAnn Baker of Morris, Carolyn Nichols of Mounds and Alieta and Danny Nichols of Blackgum; one son, Finis “Bub” Miller of Keifer; 12 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Cato; five sisters, Sally McNabb, Peggy Turney, Viola Franks, Lola Mae Cato and Bessie Johnson; and three sons-in-law, Jim Admire, Roger Nichols and Roger Grunden.
Pallbearers were Roger Baker, Lance Baker, Seth Baker, Mike Ashley, Michael Ashley II, Matt Trussell and Michael Miller.
Funeral services for Alice (Cato) Miller, 93, of Vian, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
