Graveside services for Emily Edgar, 74, of Antlers, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at Webber Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Edgar was born on March 10, 1950, in Claremore to Oscar Hicks and Cherokee (Wildcat) Thompson. She died on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, in Sherman, Texas.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Richard Edgar of the home; one son, Shannon and Kimberly Edgar of Colbert; one daughter, Sheena and Jeremy Dunn of Sherman, Texas; four sisters, Terry Casinger of Stigler, Elizabeth Thompson of Glenpool, Shirley Thompson of Checotah and Deborah Burgess of Schulter; one brother, Russell Thompson Jr. of Mounds; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers were Joe Bear Jr., Jonathan Bear, Warren Littlejohn, Newman Casinger, Trent Casinger and Justin Burgess.
