CASA launches Tall Into CASA’ to recruit volunteers
By http://www.casaok.org mailto:ny@casaok.org casaok.org.,

As the leaves begin to turn and the season of giving approaches, CASA for Children is calling on community members to “Fall Into CASA” by becoming a volunteer advocate for children in foster care.

The program is seeking compassionate individuals who are ready to make a life-changing impact for abused and neglected children by being the voice for a child in need.

CASA is kicking off its volunteer recruitment campaign to fill seats for the final training class of 2024, which will begin in November. No prior experience or training is required to volunteer – just a willingness to learn and a passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

“Our CASA volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. They stand up for children, ensuring they have a voice in court and advocating for their best interests both in and out of the courtroom,” said Suzanne Hughes, Executive Director of CASA for Children. “We invite anyone who is ready to make a positive impact to join our CASA family” CASA volunteers play a key role in helping children find a safe, permanent home. Volunteers are trained to work closely with children and families, offering advocacy and support during what can be a confusing and challenging time.

The November 2024 class will be CASA’s last training opportunity for the year, so now is the perfect time to “Fall into CASA” and sign up to become a CASA volunteer. Training sessions are flexible and fun and CASA staff provide ongoing support every step of the way.

For more information about the program, visit www.casaok.org or contact Jenny Crosby 918-686-8199 or jenny@
