Graveside memorial services for Sue Hensley, 91, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Hensley was born on Aug. 8, 1933, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Callie (Watson) Neece and Joel Melvin Neece. She died on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, in Sallisaw.
She was married to Donald F. Hensley on May 7, 1952, in Fayetteville. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2017.
She was a retired receptionist. Survivors are one son, Greg Hensley of Mesquite, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Camelia Conley and Candy Moss; one son, Bret Hensley; one granddaughter, Georgia Moss; and two brothers, Calvin and Gene Neece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sallisaw Animal Care Facility, 115 E. Choctaw, Sallisaw, OK 74955.
