Sept. 5, 1949 – Nov. 28, 2024

Funeral Service for Ray Lynn McCoy, 75 of Gore, Okla. was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Okla. Burial followed at McCoy Evening Shade Cemetery in Evening Shade community, Okla. under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on Sept. 5, 1949 in Claremore, Okla. to Jessie Marie (Plum) McCoy and Stand Waite McCoy and passed away on Nov. 28, 2024, in Gore.

He was married to Tracy Ann (Kuykendll) Mc-Coy on June 8, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Mr. McCoy was a U.S. Army Veteran and a carpenter. In his younger years, he was a pastor and evangelist in Atoka, Okla. for nine years, winning many souls for Christ. He also enjoyed riding horses and team roping at rodeos, but especially loved spending time with his children.

Survivors are wife, Tracy Ann McCoy of the home; his children, Macey McCoy of the home, Colton McCoy of the home, Christopher Lynn Mc-Coy and Robin of Fitzhugh, Okla., Taylor Lorenz of Tulsa, Okla., Karen Beach of Roff, Okla., Tracey Stephens and Randy of Ada, Okla. and Larry Beach and Becky of Tupelo, Okla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Winsel of Vian, Okla., Dorothy McMahan of Vian, and Loise Hart and Carroll of Vian; two brothers, Don McCoy of Vian, and Larry McCoy and Polly of Beggs, Okla.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty Lou Brown, Alice Scoggins and Christine Miska; three brothers, Elight McCoy, Alex Mc-Coy and Norman McCoy; one grandson, Hunter Stephens; and his former wife, Linda Sue McCoy.

Active Pallbearers were Phillip McCoy, Rayce Stephens, Willie McGowan, Kix Stephens, Ty Mc-Coy, Justin Swallow and Michael Hart.

Honorary Pallbearers were Cody Swallow, Jacob Beach, Joshua Beach and James Beach.

Viewing was from noon – 8 p.m. Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family greeted from 6 – 8 p.m.
