Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members do well at Brushy Christmas Brawl

Gore Pirates Youth Wrestler Hastin Chitty won the 40-pound title in the age 6-andyounger division at the Brushy Christmas Brawl, which took place Dec. 28.

One other member, Dawson York, also placed as he was third at 40 pounds in the same age division as Chitty. A third wrestler in the same division, 37-pounder Jax York, lost his only match.

Levi Hughart went 3-0 in round-robin action to claim the gold at 49 pounds in the age 8-and-younger division, while Liam Randolph went 1-2 at 49 pounds and Canaan Wellbranks (58 pounds) and Jeremy Brown (90105 pounds) did not get wins in the same age division.

While no other member placed, several saw action on the day.

Stryker Sandy went 2-0 to win the 130-pound title in the age 12-and-younger division, while Wyatt Chitty went 1-2 at 84 pounds in the same division.

Isabella Mannon won the title at 62-67 pounds in the girls age 8-andyounger division, while Adalynn Sandy competed at 51 pounds in the same division.

Beau Moore lost both of his matches at 106 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division.
