The Vian Wrestling Club saw several members win medals on the final Saturday of December.

At the Skiatook Tournament on Dec. 28, Joely Hunt took home first place at 91 pounds in the girls age 12-andyounger division.

The other members who medaled did so at the Brushy Christmas Brawl, which took place Dec. 28.

Zayn Vinson (73 pounds, age 10-andyounger division), Lex Branham (160, age 12-and-younger), Keaton Gregory (55, age 6-and-younger division), Luke Sandlin (55, age 8-and-younger division), Thomas Sandlin (58, age 8-and-younger division), Kainen Hunter (43, age 6-andyounger division), Dax Stewart (80, 10-andyounger division) and Bronc Sumpter (100, 10-and-younger division) all took home gold medals as champions.

Coming in second place were Jestin Rosson (73 pounds, age 12-and-younger division), Knox Branham (55, age 6-and-younger division), Maddison “Maddie” Turman (82, girls age 10-and-younger division) and Cain Winans (100, 12-andyounger division).

Five members came home with third-place finishes — Klasen Couch (60 pounds, age 6-and-younger), Creede Prier (80, age 10-andyounger division), Harlea Lucas (67, girls age 10-and-younger), Kody Perry (90, age 10-andyounger division) and Kayden Perceful (64, age 8-and-younger division).

Asher Stewart (49 pounds, age 8-andyounger division), Zach Smith (85, age 10-andyounger division) and Rocky Ford (105, age 12-and-younger) finished fourth.
