Steward takes over operations at Clearwater

A new chapter is beginning at Clearwater at Pine Cove Marina as Allison Steward officially takes over ownership and operations of the lakeside restaurant. While some exciting changes are on the horizon, Clearwater will continue to serve the same welcoming experience and great food that have made it a staple of Lake Tenkiller for decades.

Steward is no stranger to the area. She grew up in the Blackgum community where Lake Tenkiller was a part of her life year-round. She brings over 25 years of restaurant industry experience, having worked at Fin & Feather Resort before spend- ing two decades with Hal Smith Restaurant Group —one of the nation’s most respected hospitality companies.

Most recently, she served as general manager of Charleston’s in Tulsa, where she earned numerous awards for her outstanding leadership and performance.

“Clearwater has always been special to me,” Steward said. “This lake, community and restaurant hold so many memories for so many people, and I’m honored to continue its legacy. While we have a few fresh ideas coming, our focus is on keeping Clearwater a place where friends and families can gather, enjoy great food, and take in the beauty of Lake Tenkiller.”

As part of this transition, Clearwater has been undergoing slight remodeling throughout the winter to enhance the dining experience while maintaining its relaxed and familiar feel. The restaurant is set to reopen in early May with an updated menu that will continue to feature fan favorites, along with some exciting new additions.

Guests can also look forward to extended hours as the summer heats up, live entertainment and expanded catering options for private parties and special events. More details, including an official opening date, will be announced soon.

Follow Clearwater on social media for updates, sneak peeks, and announcements leading up to the reopening.
