Central, Vian, Gore track athletes do well in Hilldale Invitational

MUSKOGEE — Several Central, Vian and Gore track athletes did well in the Hilldale Invitational, which took place April 11.

Central’s Gavin Randolph was runner-up in the 400-meter dash (53.25 seconds), Central’s Braxin Goodson was second in the 300-meter hurdles (41.6) and fourth in the 800-meter run (2:10) and Central’s Charlie Petree was runner-up in the shot put (34-11.5) and fifth in the discus (106-4).

Gore’s highest finisher was Weston Cunningham, who was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (17.04) seconds, with teammates Trenton Cunningham placing seventh (18.34) and Devon Mannon fishing eighth (18.44).

In the 300-meter hurdles, Weston Cunningham was fourth (43.6 seconds), Mannon was seventh (45.7) and Trenton Cunningham was 10th (46.2).

Vian’s highest placer was Blazi Dieter, who was eighth in the 800-meter dash (2:49).

The Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Randolph, Goodson, Jake Woods and Noah Buzzard was runner-up (3:40).

The Central girls’ 3,200-meter relay team of Paris Campbell, Scarlett Harrison, Ryleigh Pierce and Cambree Bair finished third (11:29), while Campbell, Jhaselyn Gonzalez, Gracie Thompson and Bair came in sixth in the 1,600-meter relay (4:43).

The Lady Tigers’ 400-meter relay team of Gonzalez, Kinly Lovell, Thompson and Kaitlin Clark came in ninth (56.89 seconds), while Campbell, Clark, Keeley Poindexter and Bair were ninth in the 800-meter relay (1:58.65).

The Tigers’ 800-meter relay team of Randolph, Goodson, Miller and Jake Woods was 12th (1:39.36).

Gore’s Amelia White was 10th (2:55) and Vian’s Carmen Rautenberg was 16th (3:06) in the 800-meter run. Gore’s Grant Davis was 19th (2:40) in the 800-meter run.

Vian’s Tina Rautenberg was 11th (54.71 seconds) and Central’s Alexxuz Bolin was 16th (59.48) in the 300-meter hurdles, while Rautenberg was 14th (20.02 seconds), Bolin was 16th (20.04) and Vian’s Alina Mendoza was 25th (23.11) in the 100-meter hurdles.

White was 15th (1:11) and Clark was 17th (1:13.75) in the 400-meter dash.

Vian’s Austin Wilson was 17th (58.16 seconds), Gore’s Gabe Hefley was 24th (59.56) and Woods was 27th (59.84), Davis was 51st (1:07.25) and Vian’s Gabe Wilson was 54th (1:10.35) in the 400-meter dash.

In the 200-meter dash, Gore’s Cole Brooksher was 17th (24.11 seconds), Weston Cunningham was 18th (24.2), Vian’s Jacob Brannick was 23rd (24.49), Trenton Cunningham was 34th (25.18), Vian’s Ricky Wolfe was 45th (26.21), Central’s Brycen Chandler- Eisman was 49th (26.5), Hefley was 50th (26.62) and Vian’s Spencer Dick was 62nd (29 seconds flat).

In the girls’ 200-meter dash, Vian’s Sidney Cox was 27th (29.5 seconds), Clark was 30th (29.55), Poindexter was 37th (30.55), Thompson was 41st (31.31), Gore’s Gracie Bruce was 43rd (32.29), Vian’s Brooke Byers was 46th (32.8) and Vian’s Kylie Covie was 50th (39 seconds flat).

Brooksher was 33rd (11.99 seconds), Brannick was 36th (12.03), Mannon was 37th (12.05), Hefley was 51st (12.53), Chandler-Eisman was 49th (26.5) and Wolfe was 60th (13.11) in the 100-meter dash.

Gonzalez was 36th (14.49 seconds), Lovell was 38th (14.51), Vian’s Annie Neal was 44th in the 100-meter dash (14.72 seconds), while Bruce was 52nd in the 100-meter dash (15.5).

Chandler-Eisman was 59th in the 100-meter dash (13.06).

In the team standings, the Tigers were eighth with 36 points and the Pirates tied for 14th (eight points), while the Lady Tigers were ninth with 24 points.
