Sept. 9, 1931 – April 28, 2025
Carl Edwin Randolph, 93, of Hanson, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, in Claremore. He was born on Sept. 9, 1931, at Wolf Creek, to Robert “Louie” and Adele Farrer Randolph.
After completing the eighth grade at Central High School, he worked as an automobile service station attendant. In 1954, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his country during the Korean War. Following, he worked as a C & C Tile setter, and later ran a gas station and tire shop, and a Dairy Deal. He retired from Holley Automotive in 1996. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, raising livestock, bird watching, attending livestock auctions, and cooking Sunday dinners.
He married his wife, Betty, on Oct. 25, 1957. Survivors are his wife, Betty of Sallisaw; children, Ed Randolph of Sallisaw, Vickey Vestey of Frankfort, Ind., Teresa Caves of Bentonville, Ark., and Brenda Fields of Sallisaw; several grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Etta; sister, Flossie Randolph; and other siblings, Kenneth “Nip’” Randolph, Bob Randolph, Jack Randolph, Sally Dozier, Thomas Randolph and Harvey Randolph.
