A Tahlequah woman was injured last Monday afternoon when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole along Hwy. 82, according to an accident report issued by Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the collision occurred around 3:57 p.m. near County Road 834.
According to the report, Carol R. Robinson, 66, was driving southbound on Hwy. 82 when a vehicle ahead of her slowed and stopped for an unknown reason.
Investigators said Robinson then swerved to the right to avoid a collision, causing her vehicle to run off the west side of the highway and into a ditch before striking a utility pole.
The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Anthony Dotson of Troop C.
