Progression is being made on the renovation going on at the Vian Youth Baseball Fields. According to a Facebook post made by E.O. “Junior” Smith, all three backstops are gone and new fences on all three fields should be arriving soon. The people hired to do the renovation got dirt work done on moving Field No. 3. A new batting cage is complete, the slab for the new storage building has been poured and all old bleachers are gone. The renovation is expected to be completed by the time the 2026 season begins this spring.
