The Vian Lady Wolverines began the 2026 slow-pitch softball season with a 10-2 road win over the Webbers Falls Lady Warriors on March 3 at Eual Carter Sports Complex.
The Lady Wolverines (1-0) rallied from a 1-0 first-inning deficit by scoring twice in the second inning and three runs in the third inning to take the lead for good at 5-1 after three innings.
For the game, Eden Girty was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, Halli Russell was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Tressa Sandlin was 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs batted in and three runs scored, Rayleigh Terrill was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Jordyn Cowett was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Vian. Terrill (10) got the win.
