Thomas Watie Allen

March 5, 1944 — April 16, 2026

Graveside service for Thomas Watie “Tommie” Allen, 82, was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Akins Cemetery with Heath Wood officiating.

Services were under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.

Mr. Allen was born on March 5, 1944, in Akins, to T.J. and Florence Allen. He died on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Sallisaw.

He retired from Baldor Electric. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and pheasant hunting trips to Kansas.

Survivors include one son, Gary Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Dovie Lavon Allen; son, Ricky Allen; brother, Carrol Allen; and sister, Wilberta Jenkins.
