Former Vian pitcher gets win for Connors State Cowboys

WARNER — Former Vian Wolverines pitcher Diego Ramos picked up his fourth win of the season for the Connors State College Cowboys.

On March 30, Ramos (4-1) got the win as the Cowboys defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan 17-4 as Ramos went three innings with five strikeouts.

The Cowboys (31-9), who were slated to play two homes games to begin this week against the University of the Ozarks on Monday ad Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts junior varsity on Tuesday, will play a three-game weekend series against Rose State College with Thursday’s game at 2 p.mk. in Midwest City followed by a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday in Warner. Then, the Cowboys will play a home game against TCS Post Grad at 3 p.m. Monday.
