Gore Public Schools’ Gifted and Talented seniors just returned from an awesome week in Washington, D.C. The students spent the week touring historical landmarks like the White House, the National Mall and Arlington National Cemetery. A member of Congressman Brecheen’s staff even gave them a private tour of the Capitol, where they enjoyed the view from Speaker Johnson’s balcony. They also had time to play, explore and take in a Wizards game. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Kinion for making this happen for these students, as well as Mr. Tidwell for going as the male sponsor.
