A community fundraiser has been organized to support Ronnie Baldwin as he battles liver cancer and faces mounting medical expenses and lost income.
An Indian taco fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 25 at Canterbury Chapel in Vian.
Proceeds from the event will go directly toward helping Baldwin cover living expenses and medical bills during his treatment.
Plates are $15 and include an Indian taco, tea and dessert.
Organizers are also offering delivery within Sequoyah County for pre-orders, with a minimum order of four tacos or two dozen pieces of fry bread. Individual fry bread will be available for $5 each or $30 per dozen.
Community members are encouraged to place orders in advance to help organizers plan accordingly. Donations are also welcomed, and every contribution is appreciated.
Those wishing to place an order or learn more can contact DeJuna McDonald, Deb-bie Francis at 918-208-9727, or Carmen Cupp at 405-6398812.
Donations can also be made via Cash App at $dejuna1979, PayPal at @bam360, Venmo at @DeJuna-McDonald, or Apple Cash at 918-208-4438.
Organizers invite the public to come out, enjoy a meal, and support Baldwin during this difficult time.
