The Gore Board of Trustees voted last Tuesday evening to accept the resignation of Town Clerk Lisa Settlemyre following a brief special meeting that included an executive session discussion.
The meeting, held April 7 at the Gore Municipal Complex, was called to order at 6 p.m. by Mayor Robin Henry. Trustees Matt Holland, Joni Couch and Randy Foley were present, while Vice Mayor Larry Pack was absent.
After the opening formalities, trustees voted unanimously to enter into executive session under Title 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1) to discuss a personnel matter concerning Settlemyre. Mayor Henry also requested Town Attorney Matt Price to join the closeddoor session.
The board reconvened in open session at 6:10 p.m., where Mayor Henry made a motion to accept Settlemyre’s resignation.
The motion was seconded by Trustee Couch and approved unanimously by all members present.
