Vian Lady Wolverines beat Central, Roland, Muldrow in three-game homestand last week

The Vian Lady Wolverines went 3-0 at home last week at Armstrong Park, winning both home games in the three-way with a 9-8 10-inning win over Central and a 5-1 victory over Roland in their home three-way on March 31 before ending the week with a 12-6 win over Muldrow last Thursday afternoon.

In the win over Central, Rayleigh Terrill’s walk-off, two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning inning won the game after the Lady Tigers had taken a 8-7 lead on Sadie Huff’s two-out RBI single in the top of the frame.

For the game, Terrill was 3-for-5 with her third homer of the season and two runs batted in, LaKoeta Cheater was 2-for-4, Eden Girty doubled and scored twice and Halli Russell hit a grand-slam homer, her first of the season, for the Lady Wolverines (6-7). Terrill (6-7) got the win.

In the victory over Roland, the Lady Wolverines broke a 2-all tie with a run in the fourth inning and two runs in the fifth inning.

For the game, Tressa Sandlin had a single and an RBI, Girty and Russell singled and scored once and LaKoeta Cheater and Aubree Craighead each singled for Vian. Terrill got the win.

In the win over Muldrow, the Lady Wolverines broke a 6-all tie with a six-run sixth inning.

For the game, Sandlin was 4-for-4 with a double and a run scored, Craighead was 4-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored, Raylan McEver was 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, Terrill was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, LaKoeta Cheater was 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored, Jordyn Cowett was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored, Russell was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI and Scarlett Fields was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Vian. Terrill got the win.
