The Webbers Falls Lady Warriors slowpitch softball team lost its only game last week as they were shut out 12-0 in three innings by the host Keota Lady Lions.
The Lady Warriors were to have played in last Thrusday’s Morris Festival, but the event was canceled.
In the loss to Keota, Keota pitcher Danielle Drummonds no-hit the Lady Warriors (1-9) over three innings.
After the Lady Lions scored twice in the first inning, they scored eight runs in the second inning and twice in the third inning to put the game into run-rule status.
L extyn Chappell (05) suffered the loss.
Editor’s Note: The Webbers Falls High School track teams did not participate in either last Thursday’s Checotah Crossroads Classic or Tuesday’s Warner Invitational. They are scheduled to return to action at the Porter Consolidated Invitational, which will begin at 10 a.m. next Wednesday.
