The Gore Character Council was treated to lunch at The Kove last Tuesday by a community member. This luncheon was to have the students read the menu, and order for themselves. The students worked with menus for decimals and reading, all while staying within a budget. The event helped all to practice life skills in a real setting. Also, they worked on manners and effective communication to get the food they wanted. It was truly a life skill moment.
