Aug. 15, 1950 – March 29, 202

Funeral services for Jimmy David Belt, 74, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Watts Holiness Church. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Services, Inc.

Mr. Belt was born on Aug. 15, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark., to Rita Louise Belt and J.D. Belt. He passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Sallisaw.

He worked as an owner/operator truck driver and enjoyed drag racing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors are his wife, Maydene Belt; son, Jason Belt and wife Teresa; daughter, LeaAnn Taylor; sonin- law, Jerry England; three grandchildren; sister, Vickie Neece; and other friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother- in-law, Coralee Taylor; and sister, Shirley Sue Combs.
